Viña Ijalba Rioja Maturana Blanca 2024 is an organic, single-varietal white wine from Rioja, Spain, made from Maturana Blanca - the oldest documented grape variety in the region. Crafted by Viña Ijalba, a pioneer in organic farming and the rescue of rare indigenous vines, this dry white displays a bright straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. It offers vibrant aromas of green apple, white peach, wild fennel, and subtle citrus.

On the palate, a crisp, high-toned beam of acidity cuts through a textured, full-bodied frame. With about 10% of the wine aged in neutral French oak and three months of lees aging with weekly bâtonnage, it delivers creamy, nutty nuances alongside fresh stone fruit and a mineral-driven, long, round finish. It is vegan-friendly, has an ABV of 13%, and pairs naturally with fish, seafood, poultry, and soft cheeses.
