Grapes selected from the best vines and slopes of Penalva do Castelo, located on granite soils. Six months oak ageing gives subtle notes of vanilla and toast which combine with the juicy blackberry and cherry fruits.
Made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen (the Portuguese name for the grape Mencia), Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz.
Serve with BBQ lamb chops, cured meats or tomato based vegetarian dishes.
