Corpo Notte 2018

Hailing from the MonteRosola estate in Volterra, Tuscany, this sophisticated red is a classic Super Tuscan blend. The Corpo Notte is predominantly crafted from Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, with a touch of Cabernet Franc, offering a unique complexity. It benefits from the estate's high-altitude position and mineral-rich soils.

A rich, deep ruby colour, the wine offers an intriguing bouquet of dark cherry, plum, sweet spice, and a hint of vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, showcasing layered fruit with wonderfully soft, polished tannins and a persistent, elegant finish.

This wine is perfect for special occasions and pairs exceptionally well with rich, slow-cooked dishes, such as braised lamb shanks, oxtail ragu, or aged Parmesan cheese.
