Hailing from the high-altitude MonteRosola estate in Volterra, Tuscany, this luxurious red is a single-varietal masterpiece. The Canto della Civetta (Song of the Owl) is crafted entirely from 100% Merlot grapes, grown on the area’s distinctive clay, sand, and limestone soils.

The wine presents a rich ruby red with purple hues and a gloriously rich bouquet of deeply intense blackberries and black plum, layered with sweet oak spice and roses. The palate is firm yet velvety, showcasing balanced tannins and a touch of refreshing acidity that leads to an impressive, prolonged finish.

It is highly praised by the wine community and is considered among the top 1% of wines from Tuscany. This bold and structured red is an ideal partner for roasted meats, lamb, or hearty beef dishes.
