Cresendo 2019

Crafted at the MonteRosola estate in Volterra, Tuscany, this superb red is a pure expression of 100% Sangiovese, grown on the high-altitude, mineral-rich clay and limestone soils. The meticulous hand-harvesting and 15 months of ageing in French oak contribute to its majestic structure.

In the glass, it displays a deep garnet colour, offering intense and complex aromas of rich cherries, dried herbs, sweet oak, and toasted almonds. The palate is powerful yet refined, displaying excellent balance and a long, savoury finish. This is a wine with considerable ageing potential.

The 2019 vintage has received high acclaim, including a 91-point score from the Decanter World Wine Awards. Its bold, structured profile makes it the perfect pairing for robust cuisine, particularly roast beef, lamb, venison, or mature, hard cheeses.
