Indomito 2018

This bold and structured red is a Super Tuscan blend from the renowned MonteRosola estate in Volterra, Central Italy. The blend is predominantly Syrah and Cabernet (Sauvignon and Franc), grown on the estate’s high-altitude clay, sand, and limestone soils. The wine is meticulously aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

The Indomito displays a beautiful ruby rich red with purple undertones. It balances distinct dark fruit notes with spicy white pepper, liquorice, and subtle hints of the Mediterranean macchia (scrubland). It is a warm, rounded, and vibrant wine with a fine tannin structure and a very long finish.

This powerful wine is perfect for pairing with robust, rich dishes such as grilled beef fillets, slow-roasted lamb, or venison. While the 2018 vintage’s specific accolades are emerging, it is a testament to the quality of this highly rated Tuscan producer.
