Although a lower ABV than many Primitivo it carries a good depth and substantial texture, but retains an appealing freshness.

This rich, intense red wine originates from sunny Puglia in Southern Italy. It is crafted from 100% Primitivo grapes and is certified organic. It uses the Doppio Passo (double fermentation) technique for enhanced richness and concentration.

It presents a deep, inky ruby colour. The nose is robust and generous, offering powerful aromas of stewed black plums, dark cherry jam, and a touch of sweet spice. The palate is full-bodied and incredibly smooth, with soft, velvety tannins and a gentle residual sweetness that leads to a warm, long finish.

This style of Primitivo is widely celebrated for its rich, approachable character. It is an excellent pairing for barbecued red meats, rich beef stews, strong mature cheeses, or Italian sausage and pasta dishes.
